About Me

Starting off, my name is Hollie Hurst and I love photography (obviously). I've taken several photography classes in college and I absolutely loved them. I have an Associate's Degree in Media Technologies with a concentration in Video Production. I'm also certified in videography, which is a lot like photography, only the pictures move. Lately I've taken more of an interest in photography than videography, though they are very similar. I'd like to go back to school and get a Bachelor's Degree in SOMETHING, I just don't know what.

Currently I'm not working anywhere that has anything to do with my degree. Normal. I'm a team leader at Chick-Fil-A, a sales associate at Bath & Body Works, and a server/bartender for Bradford Catered Events. I do photography on the side during my free time. Currently I've been hired by a wonderful local music venue called Open Chord to take pictures of their guitars and equipment so they can put them up online. This is actually one of my first "real" photography gigs. I was hired by a couple to do their engagement photos once, but mostly I just take pictures of friends and family for fun or for personal/school projects. I want to build my skill level, as well as have something to show potential future clients. Oh, and I guess it is important to let you know that I'm based out of Knoxville, TN.

By the way, little side note about Open Chord. It is the coolest new place in town. They are a music venue/ bar/ coffee shop/ restaurant/ music store/ music school. It is beyond awesome. My dad owns the place and it's super cool.

Anyway, more about me.

I am 24 years old. I have a wonderful husband named Ean who is the most awesome human being on the planet, though I may be a little biased. We will be celebrating our one year anniversary on October 11. I'm super obsessed with Disney. Ean and I both have annual passes to Walt Disney World and go several times during the year (even though we live a good 10 hours away from Orlando).

Hopefully this helps you get to know me a little better. I'll definitely keep this page up to date as often as I can.
